مَا تَعَلُّل .. حتى عنترة سبق بالإيمان .. حتى صديقه مالك قتلته للرهان فرسان .. حتى الملك الضليل المدلل قتلته حلة مسمومة .. حتى الشاب القتيل - الحديث شبابا قدرا، لكن كبير منصبا بتاريخي - قتله الذي لم يضحك الحجِر قتلا من براءة طرفة السالك منها متلمس .. حتى الأحنف بن قيس كبير تميم توفاه الله .. حتى أبو بكر وعمرُ بنُ الخطاب ابنُ الخطاب .. حتى الفارس العربي.. في جاهليتها.. ليس .. حتى الإبل تركت الحنين فتركت العرب العمامة .. حتى دعاؤه سيدا معمما ليس .. حتى يقال باطمئنان: ابتسام بابتسام جزاءْ .. حتى المشيدون ليس .. حتى الجبر ليس .. حتى الشعر والخطيب وكتاب أبهر ليس .. حتى البتراء ليس .. حتى وكلُ شيء للعرب فإنما هو بديهة وارتجال وكأنه إلهام.. أرسالا.. وانثيالا ليس ..

بابُ إعطاء وجهك للناس

وهو أن يرى الخلقُ وجهك من الأذن إلى الأذن، والنظرُ إليهم بعينيك معا، مع لين في النظر وثنايا الوجه. وهذا - أطال الله عمرك - فصل في المؤانسة، وهو كتوطئة الـمُـتَوَسِّد ماتَوَسَّد من أجل إخوانه .. بابٌ في معاملة الناس المأمورِ بحسنٍ فيها..  .. إنَّا كُنا حُرمنا كتابةَ الرسائل والنثور زمنا وفترةً .. والله يشاءُ ألا ننسى ..
